As a leading e-waste management service provider, Enviroserve has carved a lasting legacy of sustainability across the Middle East and Africa. Founded in Dubai in the year 2004, this semi-governmental company applies state-of-the-art technology to facilitate authorized recycling and secure disposal of a wide range of equipment.


From laptops and medical devices to vending machines and home appliances, tonnes of forgotten appliances find their way to the company’s sprawling facility every day. Their operations include client acquisition, logistics, and a complex web of reports and approvals, amongst other things.

The Problem

Despite being pioneers of the industry, Enviroserve were still running their operations on an outdated software called Turbo CRM.
The system offered limited operational modules, which hindered the team’s ability to collect and categorize crucial data. Details of leads, clients, employees, and logistics partners were disorganized and the data was not backed-up, leading to lead leakage and data loss.
Moreover, as the system lacked the ability to pull or sync data from multiple sources like logistics portals and emails, data had to be logged in manually. The system also lacked features to accommodate the approvals and assessments required to maintain service standards. The lack of advanced features to automate report generation, invoicing, and accounting was also posing major productivity hurdles for the administrative team at Enviroserve.

The Solution

After a thorough analysis of the company’s workflows, data challenges, and operational processes, Alchemist Advanced Technologies identified Zoho One as the most suitable solution. Its unified ecosystem offered the flexibility to build custom workflows, automate approvals, and centralize data without having to deal with multiple disconnected tools.

Lead and Customer Relationship Management
Zoho CRM replaced the outdated Turbo CRM, introducing a structured lead pipeline with automated notifications and conversion tracking. Sales teams could now receive timely updates on lead stages, enabling proactive outreach and better conversion rates. Client data is centralized, searchable, and linked to purchase history, making customer relationship management seamless.
Automated Workflow and Approvals
Using Zoho CRM’s blueprint and Zoho Creator’s custom modules, the company built a customized approval system to manage internal assessments and operational steps. This eliminated manual bottlenecks and ensured that every approval followed a secure and auditable path.
Accounts and Shipper Database
A custom Zoho Creator app now tracks all logistics partners, account details, and billing records. Shipper data is searchable and linked to invoices, making it easy to reconcile transactions and monitor vendor performance.
Print-Ready Document Templates
Documents uploaded by staff are automatically formatted into print-ready templates using Zoho CRM’s automation tools. This eliminates the need for manual formatting and ensures consistency across all printed materials. Documents are also accessible via mobile apps, enabling remote operations.
Zoho People was deployed to manage employee records, leave requests, and HR communications. The platform provides a centralized dashboard for HR teams to track attendance, leave balances, and employee status.
Reports and Analytics
Zoho CRM was configured to host real-time dashboards and detailed reports on sales, marketing, and operational metrics. Managers can now review performance trends, lead conversion rates, and growth indicators with clarity and confidence.
